The main goal of the reliability monitor is to keep track of reliability events that have been defined as changes to your system that could alter the stability or other events that might indicate system instability. The System Stability Chart gives you a visual on how reliable your system looks over time.

Events monitored include: Figure 8.6 shows a system that is becoming more unreliable over time. Using the monitor, you can see what is causing the instability. You are given an overall stability index score: 10 is perfection; 1 is the lowest.
